What is Good Religious Education

In his weekly Montana Catholic Register “Reflections” column, Bishop Murphy defines the qualities and characteristics of good religious education. He elaborates by saying, “Religious education has a formational component which is essential. This involves more than intellectual understanding or memorization of doctrine or prayers – which are important and necessary – but calls for growth in one’s spiritual life and a lived faith commitment.”
