The Essential Mission of the Church

Bishop Murphy in his weekly Montana Catholic Register “Reflections” column offers his perspective on the vital role religious education programs play in the essential mission of the church to proclaim the Good News to contemporary human society. In his view, “Religious education is more than sacramental preparation and celebration of any of the sacraments.
