Reflections on Catholic Education

In this address titled “Reflections on Catholic Education”, Bishop Murphy discusses the vital role Catholic education plays in the mission of the church and the many contributions Catholic schools make to the communities in which they reside and operate. He concluded this address by saying, “I believe I benefitted from the gifts which Catholic education offered to me – especially the gifts of sacrifice of my parents who provided the means whereby I would be able to have this advantage. And I do believe Catholic education is an advantage!”
