The Sacred and the Secular

Bishop Murphy uses his weekly Montana Catholic Register “Reflections” column to draw attention to the importance for all the faithful to be very much aware of the sacred dimensions of our faith – especially in light of the much greater involvement the laity now has in all facets of the church. He offers the following thought, “Essential to the preservation of the sacred within the life of the ministering community today is the openness to grow and develop in a spiritual way, to seek out opportunities for a deeper prayer life and contact with the Lord.”
