A Year Later

Bishop Murphy in his weekly Montana Catholic Register “Reflections” column reflects on his first year as the leader of the Church in Eastern Montana. Looking forward, he says, “I hope during this second year to be more conscious of the quality of the relationships and the contact I will have with the people of the Diocese. I hope to spend more time with the priests, sisters, and people of the Diocese to listen to them, to pray with them, to become friends with them. I hope to slow myself down to allow the gracious presence of the Lord to become far more a part of my life so that I will be enabled and empowered to share his gifts with others.”
