The Unity of Faith in the Church

Bishop Murphy in his weekly Montana Catholic Register “Reflections” column shares his thoughts on the universal nature of the church. In his view, “No parish can exist by itself independent of other parishes in our own diocese or in the world. We have a relationship in faith and worship to Roman Catholics throughout the world which has its focal point each time we come together for the celebration of the Eucharist where we hear the Word of God, proclaim our faith through the Creed, and share in the meal that is offered to us of the Body and Blood of the Lord.”
