My First Christmas in Montana – What a Gift!

Bishop Murphy used his weekly Montana Catholic Register “Reflections” column to describe spending his first Christmas in Montana. He concludes with the following observation, “Two thousand years ago, the most unexpected surprise occurred in the history of the world. Ever since, all of us have to be open to the unexpected surprises which are part of all our lives whereby God encounters us and challenges us to incarnate his presence. What an unexpected surprise to be here in Montana to wish you a blessed Christmas! But what a gift!”
